In this article the author speaks of ways in which stakeholders may benefit from social networking. The speed at which information is relayed was spoken off. Two main advantages of social networking were highlighted; firstly, it could be used to relay material and secondly as an avenue to gain emotional support and recognition for work done. These two points can be used to answer the question ‘How best can social networking be used for professional development’.

This was a good read. People can gain some level of esteem from receiving credit for their work done after posting on social network.
